My best friend Nikki is expecting her 1st little baby. Isabella Marie. She was scheduled to be induced Friday August 27th. So we waited till the last minute..not sure why, but that's just what we do, to take maternity pictures. Little Isabella is going to be my God Daughter, so this was so special for me to be able to take these pictures of Nikki. Nikki and I have been friends since the 4th grade, and pretty sure we will be hanging out in a nursing home one day in Florida together :) Nikki and her husband Kyle had a very rough year trying to get pregnant. They lost 3 little ones in one year. God Blessed them when they least expected it, and gave them Isabella. She is one lucky little lady with TONS of people who love her, especially her Aunt Cassie :)

It is so crazy difficult to take pictures of your own child, I don't really know why it is, but it is. Home is where one starts from, and I started here in Arnold.

We are moving this weekend to Republic Missouri. Not exactly sure what or who I'll be photographing but stay tuned. I do know that I have cows as neighbors so that should be interesting. I will miss my friends and family so much. You all have no idea what you mean to me. Of course I'll be back to visit and to take pictures when I have appointments. You don't know what you've got until it's gone, or until you have to leave it in my case. I love this town. And I love that green water tower, I know I'm totally crazy for loving it, but I do. The Day President Obama Came to Town

President Obama came to my home town of Arnold MO today. I walked down the street (literally) to get some pics of all that was going on. It was really cool to see him pull up in his Limo. There were some interesting people down there and ALOT of opinions. When people tried to get my take I said, I'm just here to take pictures. It was quit an experience.
